Trees, Shrubs & Planting
The right tree in the right spot is the best money you can spend on a New Mexico yard — shade drops cooling costs, and desert-adapted trees thrive on a fraction of the water. The wrong tree is a slow-motion $400 mistake. We plant the first kind.
What we plant
Desert-adapted and native trees (desert willow, New Mexico olive, chitalpa, honey locust, vitex), flowering and evergreen shrubs, ornamental grasses, agaves, yuccas, and perennial color from the Water Authority's approved plant list — which matters if your planting is part of a rebate project.
Planted right
Trees from $175–$450 planted depending on size, including proper hole prep (our caliche soil punishes lazy digging), soil amendment, staking where needed, a watering basin, and drip emitters sized to the plant. Shrubs and perennials priced per plan.
Tree-Bate: ABCWUA customers get 25% back on qualifying trees and professional tree care, up to $100/year — we spec eligible species and give you the receipt that qualifies.
Trimming & care
Shrub shaping, small-tree pruning, and cleanup hauling included. Big-tree removal and anything requiring a bucket truck, we'll refer honestly to a tree service rather than pretend.
Tell us what you want shade on. We'll pick the tree.
